Kingsbridge and Dartmouth are the nearest towns. Kingsbridge, about 8 miles away, is a delightful place with many shops, banks, cafes and restaurants, a sports centre with swimming pool, and a supermarket. Dartmouth is about ten miles away and overlooks a spectacular deep water estuary. There are some lovely estuary boat trips from both Kingsbridge and Dartmouth.
